In 2020, students from Whyalla High School participated in the GFG Foundation Student Program along with Stuart High School and Samaritan College. On Tuesday 23 March, students were presented their certificates in front of their cohort. Congratulations to Ky Gray and David Graham who worked tirelessly last year to purposefully participate in the program and develop vital enterprise and personal skills.
The program is extremely beneficial to students; it develops confidence in individuals by empowering and enabling young people to reach their full potential by developing their STEM skills. The program engages students in STEM, with connections to local GFG Alliance industry to provide a framework for the meaningful development of student-led projects that address local community challenges. The program empowers and enables young people to reach their potential, and set them up to seek, gain and remain in employment. The GFG Foundation needs young people to help deliver its vision, ambition and objectives.
