Last week, Mr Ellidge’s Year 9 Outdoor Education class travelled to Melrose for their hiking camp.
The camp started off slow with a trip to the Port Augusta Hospital to pop a finger back into place, but it was all smooth after that. Students set their tents up and then travelled into Willowie Forest to begin their hiking. Over the two days’ students hiked approximately 22kms, reaching the summit of Mt Remarkable along the way.
Students spent night time playing spotlight and keeping warm by the fire. All students did a great job.
